Castigatorii la BAFTA Video Games Awards 2008

BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) este unica academie de film din lume care recunoaste jocurile video la un nivel egal cu industria cinematografica.
Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare a fost marele castigator al serii fiind premiat pentru scenariu si personaje, gameplay si a primit si asa numitul premiu People’s Choice (alegerea poporului).
Ceremonia era preconizata sa aiba loc la sfarsitul lui 2008 dar a fost amanata pana in martie 2009 din motive necunoscute.
Castigatorii sunt:
- Action & Adventure: Fable II
- Artistic Achievement: LittleBigPlanet
- Best Game: Super Mario Galaxy
- Casual: Boom Box
- Gameplay: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- HandHeld: Professor Layton and the Curious Village
- Multiplayer: Left 4 Dead
- Original Score: Dead Space
- Sports: Race Driver: GRID
- Strategy: Civilization Revolution
- Story and Character: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Technical Achievement: Spore
- Use Of Audio: Dead Space
- BAFTA One’s To Watch Award: Boro-Toro
- GAME Award of 2008 (people’s choice): Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
